Dr Dalize Willemse

MBChB (Stell), BSc. Psychology (UOVS)

Dr Dalize Willemse is a general practitioner with a special interest in aesthetic, anti-ageing and cosmetic medicine. She completed her BSc Psychology at the University of the Free State in 1992. She also obtained a medical degree at the Stellenbosch University five years later. She completed her two-year internship at the Groote Schuur Hospital and one-year community service at Malmesbury Provincial Hospital.

She started her own practice in 2000 and worked as a general practitioner for seven years. During this time she developed an interest in aesthetics and started attending courses and congresses in aesthetics. In 2009 she started her own aesthetics practice in Malmesbury and also started working for the Renewal Institute on a part-time basis.

According to her, the best part of her job is the smiles on her patients' faces after a treatment. She is also a member of The Aesthetic and Anti-aging Medicine Society of South Africa. She appreciated the professionalism, service excellence and vast array of cutting edge treatment options at the Renewal Institute and joined the Renewal Institute on a full time basis in October 2009. Dr Dalize loved the opportunity to learn more about aesthetic medicine from the in house training team as well as being able to shadow Skin Renewal doctors to learn more about aesthetics.

A mother of two Dr Dalize extends the care, passion and compassion she brings to all patients into her home to both her family and her favourite four legged friends Max and Stoffel.

Dr Dalize regularly attends non-surgical, anti-ageing congresses and workshops and also undergoes continuous in house training at Skin Renewal. She is a member of AAMSA (The Aesthetic & Anti-Ageing Medicine Society of South Africa) and currently consults from the Willowbridge and Paarl branches.
