Sleep Renewal now available Nationwide!

After the overwhelming success of the launch of our latest addition, Sleep Renewal, sleep studies is now available at all 16 branches nationwide!

After intensive research into the importance of good restorative sleep, it was found that non restorative sleep is connected to many health concerns that the majority of us suffer from, such as Hypertension, Diabetes, Stroke, Heart disease and Erectile dysfunction amongst others. These findings made us realise the importance of informing the public about just how important sleep is for your health.

Health Renewal has recently paid a lot of attention to the important subject of sleep breathing disorders. Two of our newsletters in 2015 were dedicated to describing Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and Upper Airway Resistance Syndrome (UARS) in detail. There is overwhelming evidence that both OSA and UARS are huge contributing factors in disorders such as obesity, diabetes and heart disease. Poor sleep quality and progressive brain damage induced by OSA could also be responsible for poor memory, emotional problems and decreased cognitive functioning. Unfortunately the lack of awareness in the medical community (about sleep disorders such as OSA and UARS), means that the diagnosis is often missed. A major part of Sleep Renewal is the fact that we offer home-based testing for sleep breathing disorders. We have streamlined the process in order to make the experience as effortless as possible. New technology allows one to collect all the necessary data, to make an accurate diagnosis while you sleep in your own bed. This Home Sleep Study will confirm whether you do indeed have OSA and/or UARS, allowing you to treat potentially harmful sleep disorders.

Sleep Renewal was originally launched at Fourways, Parkhurst, Morningside Sandton, Illovo Sandton, Bedfordview, West Rand in Johannesburg, in Pretoria at Irene and Brooklyn and Cape Quarter, Claremont, Constantia in the Western Cape. We are now happy to announce that this service is now also available at Somerset West, Stellenbosch and Willowbridge in the Western Cape and FINALLY in KwaZulu-Natal at both branches; Durban and Umhlanga.
